Job Description
Addictions Recovery Center (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. In addition to our services, we provide a 40-hour training to prepare you as a Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM). CRMs earn a competitive wage and are an integral part of behavioral health teams all over Oregon working with others who seek recovery.
Upon completion of training, candidates will be eligible to apply for their Certified Recovery Mentor certification through MHACBO.
Candidates must meet the requirements set by MHACBO for certification, including but not limited to:
- CRM candidates must be in recovery from substance use dependence and have a minimum of 1 year (temporarily reduced from 2 years to 1 year) of recovery.
- Successful passing of a background check with exclusionary criteria of the crimes listed in the Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 443.004 and Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) 407-007-0277 (including conviction, attempt, conspiracy, or solicitation for any of these crimes) regardless of how long ago the conviction occurred.
